Buddhist monks from Thailand’s Sisaket collected a million bottles to build the Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew temple, primarily Heineken, which are the green bottles, and the brown bottles of local beer makers. The results are stunning. An entire, ornate monk house, made entirely of beer bottles.
It’s even more amazing when you consider that to have this many beer bottles, the monks had to drink a LOT. A LOT. And for a bunch of drunken monks, their construction and engineering skills are incredible. Imagine what these gentlemen could accomplish sober.
Now if only drunken stepfathers everywhere would do the same they’d have a lot less time to beat their faux-offspring. They’d have a hellovalot more to point to with pride than their skills at quarter bounce, too.

I’m not sure if I should feel guilty for not recycling or jealous that they get to drink so much (which is weird, because all the drunk people I hang with are LOUD when they are drunk, not silent and introspective).
Wait…is my tax money paying for this somehow?!?
